India’s small and medium businesses (SMBs) are entering their most confident decade yet. New LinkedIn research finds that 9 in 10 SMBs (95.6%) are already investing in or planning AI adoption, indicating how technology has moved from experiment to infrastructure. At the same time 92% of SMB decision-makers expect business growth in the next 12 months – signalling a sector that’s not just hopeful but rebuilding around smarter systems, skilled talent, and trusted digital platforms.
Behind their confidence lies urgency. AI is no longer a buzzword, but the new baseline for growth. The research shows that 57% of SMBs view AI and automation as essential to stay competitive, 54% cite operational efficiency as key to protecting margins, and 51% say digital transformation is critical to survival.
Across India, different regions are evolving in distinct ways. SMBs in Delhi (61%) and Pune (60%) lead AI adoption to manage costs, those in Bengaluru (63%) are focusing on operational efficiency, and those in Chennai (62%) are concentrating on building a skilled talent pipeline. Meanwhile, SMBs in some of the fastest growing cities in India such as Chandigarh (100%), Jaipur (94%), and Ahmedabad (94%) are setting new benchmarks for business confidence and technology adoption, often pulling ahead of larger metros in AI readiness and momentum.
Kumaresh Pattabiraman, Country Manager, LinkedIn India said, “Indian SMBs are moving from ‘startup hustle’ to ‘strategic muscle’. Entrepreneurs are reimagining how business is built, using AI to drive efficiency, skills-first hiring to build capability, and trusted digital ecosystems to expand their market footprint. At LinkedIn, our focus is simple – give every entrepreneur, in metro or non-metro cities, the right network, the right clients, and the right talent, all in one place, so they can grow with clarity and confidence in the AI economy.”
AI has become the engine behind how SMB’s hire, market and grow. Nearly all surveyed businesses say they use it to automate workflows (92%), strengthen analytics and business intelligence (93%), and streamline hiring, marketing, and sales (over 90%).
Hiring models are being rebuilt around capability, not credentials. SMBs  now value digital literacy and AI fluency (63%), problem-solving (57%), and data analysis (50%) over traditional qualifications. To find this talent, 65% already use AI hiring tools, citing better assessments and higher engagement.
Marketing and sales, too, are becoming intelligence-driven. 76% of SMBs use AI marketing tools, with three-quarters investing up to half their budgets in them. 74% now rely on AI in sales for sharper targeting and automated follow-ups, allowing them to operate with the sophistication of larger enterprises.
Rahul Karthikeyan, Chief Marketing Officer, Scaler said, “Scaler’s recent campaigns have seen strong performance through precise audience targeting and data-driven optimisation. Sponsored Content, especially vertical formats, delivered a 20% higher lead-to-payment conversion than static formats on other channels. In August alone, LinkedIn generated about 70–80 new payments with a return on spend (RoS) of 2.2. We plan to further scale this high-impact channel while maintaining cost-per-sale efficiency.”
Even as they adopt AI at speed, SMBs are discerning about where they place their trust. 95% say platform credibility matters more than cost or convenience. Their top considerations are data security (83%), seamless integration (79%), and clarity on ROI (75%). Together, these shifts signal the rise of a smarter, more resilient SMB ecosystem – one that is not just adapting to the AI era but actively shaping it.

LinkDaddy launches AI-powered backlink report for faster SEO insights – ecommercenews.com.au

LinkDaddy has introduced its Backlink Strategy Report technology, aiming to support digital marketing agencies and search engine optimisation professionals with faster access to in-depth SEO analysis. The platform leverages dual artificial intelligence engines to reduce turnaround times for strategic recommendations and integrate data from several premium SEO tools.
AI process integration
The Backlink Strategy Report, known as BSR, relies on two specialised AI engines: the Dynamic Reasoning Engine and the Dynamic Investment and Scaling Engine. The Dynamic Reasoning Engine consolidates and interprets data from multiple leading SEO platforms. The Dynamic Investment and Scaling Engine evaluates budget allocations, tailoring recommendations to remain within feasible investment ranges for agencies and their clients.
The system’s methodology merges AI-powered data processes with psychological communication strategies, enabling tailored recommendations for different industry sectors. The platform’s design supports users looking to condense traditionally time-consuming manual analysis, reducing it from a reported 4-8 hours to approximately 35-60 minutes per report, according to the company.
Platform versions
LinkDaddy offers two versions of the BSR package: one bearing the company’s own branding and a White Label option for partner agencies. The LinkDaddy-branded system produces a 17-20 slide presentation with company branding and delivers results in under 45 minutes. The White Label version is designed for agency partners requiring extended analysis and agency-specific branding, producing a report in approximately 60 minutes.
The White Label option assesses the partner agency’s capabilities, aiming to position it with genuine authority that reflects its actual service strengths, rather than relying on generalised industry templates. Both packages use multi-platform data integration to generate insights aligned with specific business objectives.
Key features outlined
The BSR platform identifies opportunities for ‘First Mover Advantage’ by highlighting keywords that may present unexplored revenue streams. Another component, termed Strategic Dilution, is designed to support sustainable, long-term SEO outcomes by moderating aggressive acquisition tactics and focusing on balance over time.
Industry-specific psychological adaptation frameworks are incorporated to help agencies refine their communications, adapting language and recommendations to the vocabulary and expectations familiar to sectors such as healthcare, construction, and professional services.
Workflow and quality
The company highlights that this approach can help alleviate reliance on senior strategists for routine analysis, potentially reducing onboarding and operational training requirements for agencies. The system is designed to support consistent presentations across portfolios, regardless of individual staff experience levels.
Functional aims
The platform also emphasises its capacity to surface insights through cross-referencing data, enabling agencies to formulate strategy based on a broader set of intelligence. Production times are kept within a range designed to fit typical project delivery cycles, supporting agencies working with multiple concurrent clients.
Peacock said, “Traditional reporting methods rely on generic templates rather than customized analysis, creating a critical gap in the market.”

Doodle for Google is back to celebrate students’ superpowers

The annual Doodle for Google contest is back for its 17th year! This time, we’re inviting K-12 students to create artwork about their personal strengths and talents, in response to the theme “My superpower is…” The contest is open for entries from October 15, 2025 to December 10, 2025.

Each year, we look forward to highlighting the amazing creativity of children and teens in a U.S. based school (including homeschool) or a school in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and freely associated states, or The District of Columbia. Children of military personnel abroad can enter this year, and will be judged with applications from their home state.

This year promises to bring another round of spectacular creations as we invite students to look inward and consider the unique traits that make them special. We’re excited to see what students come up with as they reflect on the ways that they contribute to their schools, families, or wider local communities.

We’re also kicking off a new approach to Doodle for Google that will bring more student artwork to the Google homepage, allow us to celebrate winners in bigger ways and better align with the academic year.

Instead of only one student, there will now be five finalists who receive a $10,000 college scholarship, their Doodle featured on our Google.com homepage and a chromebook. Our judges and national voting process will then help determine which of the five finalists becomes the National Winner and receives an additional $45,000 scholarship, plus a $50,000 technology package for their school.

We have also changed the timeframe of the contest from spring to fall. This will coincide with the start of the school year–so educators can more easily incorporate Doodle for Google into their plans and finalists get to be celebrated by their classmates and community while school is still in session.

This year’s judging panel will include NBA powerhouse Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ashley Crosson, National Teacher of the Year.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a nine-time NBA All-Star forward for the Milwaukee Bucks. His impressive basketball career includes two MVP awards, an epic NBA championship with the Bucks in 2021, and an NBA Defensive Player of the Year award. Committed to using his legacy to help others achieve their dreams, he and his family have established the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation as well as the Antetokounmpo Academy to empower youth through sport, building confidence through education and developing life skills.

Ashlie Crosson, the 2025 National Teacher of the Year, serves as an English teacher at Pennsylvania’s Mifflin County High School, where she aims to prepare her students to navigate the complexities of our global society. Crosson believes in building a strong curriculum that develops communication skills, empowers students to solve problems, and expands their worldview. Crosson teaches Advanced Placement language and composition, English 10, and Survival Stories, an elective that approaches global humanitarian crises from a youth perspective. She also advises the journalism program, which publishes the school newspaper and district magazine. As the 2025 National Teacher of the Year, Crosson will spend a year representing educators and serving as an ambassador for the teaching profession.

How to enter the contest

Doodle for Google 2025-26 is now open for entries until December 10, 2025. For details on how to enter, resources for educators and parents, as well the contest rules, head to our website. We can’t wait to see the creativity and power of these Doodles!

AI, language, and the future of work – Digital Journal

Hi, what are you looking for?
Communication drives connection and connection drives income. That’s the real power of words in today’s digital economy.
By
Published
Generation Alpha’s “brain rot” slang is creating real income opportunities (this is one of the worlds of 2024, as Digital Journal reported). From meme consulting to AI language training, young creators are turning viral words like “rizz” and “skibidi” into digital jobs and new forms of communication currency.
There’s been some buzz recently about Gen Alpha brain rot — words like “skibidi,” “rizz,” and “6-7” that confuse adults and drive teachers mad.
What if this digital slang fluency could actually make money?
From TikTok slang to translation gigs, words are driving income in unexpected ways.
According to the firm Notta.ai bilingual professionals fluent in French top the U.S. pay chart with average salaries of $145,836, followed by Italian ($94,640) and German ($87,814). Meanwhile, popular languages like Spanish, English, and Japanese dominate job openings across tech, customer service, and content localisation.
While most adults dismiss Gen Alpha slang as “nonsense,” it’s shaping how younger audiences engage online. Marketers, teachers, and brands are scrambling to keep up. From “delulu” to “skibidi,” these viral codes are rewriting the rules of digital attention, and the people who understand them are getting paid to translate them.
Fei Chen, financial strategist and CEO ofIntellectia.ai, has a deep insight into how communication, AI, and culture converge in the future of work. Chen has explained this to Digital Journal.
“Language is evolving faster than ever, and the smartest earners are those who learn how to translate culture into opportunity. Whether it’s a foreign language or a viral meme, fluency creates value,” says Chen.
Chen looks at the current trends:
Instead of avoiding slang, smart marketers use it strategically by creating captions, ads, and campaigns built around viral words like “slay” or “W” to make brands feel relatable and current. According to digital marketing insights and the rise of AI-native Martech tools, this fusion of human creativity and AI personalization allows brands to connect with each customer as a “segment of one,” driving higher engagement and sales.
“People see ‘Gen Alpha brain rot’ as a problem, but it’s really a new kind of cultural fluency,” Chen explains. “These kids aren’t zoning out because they’re redefining how communication works online. The creators and professionals who can translate that humour and energy into real-world strategy will lead the next wave of creative industries.”
Freelancers are turning Internet humour into income through the growing meme economy, where brands pay experts to translate viral culture into marketing strategy. According to a report, memes have become powerful tools for engagement and brand awareness.
Trend consultants now use data, social listening, and creativity to craft shareable campaigns that feel authentic to Gen Alpha audiences. These specialists, found on platforms like Upwork and Toptal, blend analytics with humour to help companies stay relevant online while earning a steady income through social media marketing projects.
By building videos around trending slang, memes, or sounds and using AI tools to speed up scripting, visuals, and editing, freelancers can quickly produce high-volume, engaging content that taps into cultural moments. The smartest creators monetize through multiple streams: platform ad revenue, brand sponsorships, affiliate marketing, and merchandise featuring viral phrases.
Some even sell digital products or license original characters inspired by these trends. In today’s fast-moving algorithmic landscape, those who blend cultural awareness with AI efficiency are turning “nonsense” slang into real income and sustainable digital careers.
As tech companies race to train smarter chatbots and virtual assistants, AI language trainers and data annotators who understand evolving Gen Alpha slang like “rizz,” “skibidi,” or “fanum tax” are in demand to teach models real-world conversational context.
“Understanding how slang spreads is no longer a fun side note, but rather a competitive skill,” Chen clarifies. “It shapes algorithms, builds communities, and fuels virality. When combined with AI and translation tools, it turns from a local trend into a global opportunity.”
Entrepreneurs are using print-on-demand sites like Printful and Redbubble to sell apparel and accessories featuring viral words such as “Skibidi,” “Gyatt,” and “Rizz,” while others design digital sticker packs, AR filters, and in-game items inspired by meme culture. Top sellers even gamify their creations through Roblox mini-games or customizable merch where fans can add their favourite phrases.
This trend thrives on speed and authenticity; those who capture a meme’s energy before it fades can earn thousands each month through apparel, digital goods, and affiliate campaigns that mirror Gen Alpha’s chaotic, shareable humour.
Journalists and copywriters can earn through explainer pieces that decode slang for parents and brands, or by producing youth-focused articles and video scripts that use the language authentically. Others monetise by crafting branded content that integrates slang naturally, creating humorous commentary on social trends, or analysing the evolution of Gen Alpha’s digital dialect for media and academic outlets.
“Language has always been the ultimate currency,” Chen concludes. “Whether you’re fluent in French or fluent in TikTok, communication drives connection and connection drives income. That’s the real power of words in today’s digital economy.”

Google adds asset-level reporting to display campaigns

Google is rolling out asset-level reporting for Display campaigns, giving advertisers a clearer view of how individual creative assets perform — a move that brings Display closer to the visibility already seen in Performance Max campaigns.

Why we care. Until now, Display campaign insights have been limited to overall ad performance. With this update, advertisers can analyze results at the asset level — images, headlines, descriptions — to pinpoint what’s driving engagement and what’s not.

How it works. A new Assets tab in Google Ads will let users:

  • Compare performance of each creative asset.
  • View when assets were last updated to track iteration history.
  • Decide which assets to keep, refresh, or remove based on data.

The details. A new Google support page, “About asset reporting in Display,” outlines the update with links to:

  • Get started
  • How it works
  • Asset reporting for your Display campaigns
  • Evaluating asset performance

Between the lines. This upgrade mirrors reporting tools available in Performance Max, signaling Google’s continued effort to unify insights across campaign types and improve transparency in automated advertising.

What’s next. The feature hasn’t been spotted live yet, but its appearance on Google’s help center — first noticed by PPC News Feed founder Hana Kobzová — suggests a wider rollout is imminent.

Decoding SEO Mastery: Documenting Strategies for the 2025 Frontier – WebProNews

In the rapidly evolving world of search engine optimization, documenting your SEO strategy has become more critical than ever. As algorithms shift and AI takes center stage, industry insiders are turning to meticulous documentation to stay ahead. This deep dive explores how to effectively document an SEO strategy, drawing from expert insights and the latest trends shaping 2025.
According to an in-depth guide on Search Engine Land, documenting your SEO strategy involves creating a comprehensive blueprint that outlines goals, tactics, and metrics. Author Aleyda Solis emphasizes that a well-documented strategy serves as a roadmap, ensuring alignment across teams and adaptability to changes like Google’s algorithm updates.
The Foundation of SEO Documentation
Solis advises starting with clear objectives, such as increasing organic traffic by 20% or improving keyword rankings for specific terms. The document should include audience analysis, competitor research, and a content calendar. This structured approach, as highlighted in the Search Engine Land piece, prevents common pitfalls like siloed efforts or inconsistent execution.
Integrating current trends is essential. For instance, WordStream reports that AI-driven content creation is one of the top eight SEO trends for 2025, urging professionals to document how AI tools will be used ethically to enhance strategies without risking penalties.
Navigating AI Integration in Strategies
Building on this, Backlinko outlines five crucial SEO trends, including voice search optimization and search intent focus. Insiders must document how these elements fit into their plans, such as incorporating conversational keywords to align with user queries in AI overviews.
Recent news from WebProNews warns of AI-generated ‘slop’ flooding the web, comprising over 50% of new articles. Documenting strategies to prioritize high-quality, human-augmented content is vital to combat this, ensuring E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles are embedded.
Technical Optimization and Security Measures
Semrush identifies nine major trends, like zero-click searches and AI visibility. Effective documentation should detail technical SEO audits, including site speed enhancements and mobile optimization, as echoed in posts on X where experts like Connor Gillivan stress modern UX and CDN usage for 2025 campaigns.
Security is another layer. A Medium article by Suraj Verma, credited to Medium, discusses edge SEO security best practices for 2025, recommending documentation of safeguards against cyberattacks to protect rankings and user trust.
Link Building and Multi-Platform Presence
