Android Enterprise Users Can Now Upgrade to a Managed Google Domain – inkl

Google is rolling out an update for its Android Enterprise customers. The company now allows organizations to fully integrate their setup into a managed Google domain. According to the company, the update strengthens security and simplifies IT management by shifting control away from personal Gmail accounts toward corporate-owned credentials.
It will now allow IT admins to enforce enterprise-grade security practices such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), security keys, single sign-on (SSO), and role-based administration. The update also makes account recovery for lost credentials easier, removing common roadblocks tied to personal accounts.
Furthermore, the transition to a managed Google domain also supports the use of multiple Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) providers across different regions. This flexibility can be especially helpful for global companies with varying IT infrastructure needs in different markets.
Apart from that, the update brings tighter integration with other Google products, including Google Workspace, Google Chrome, and Google Gemini. IT teams can deploy and manage all of these services through the centralized Google Admin console, streamlining operations and improving visibility across the organization.
That’s all about the update for the Android Enterprise Customers. However, the company has been on a launch spree for new features and updates. For example, NotebookLM has now received the much-awaited Video Overviews feature along with the revamped Studio panel. Besides, the company has also launched its new experimental feature called Opal, which is a no-code tool that allows you to build AI-powered mini apps, and rolled out a new AI-based “Try-On” feature for shopping in Google Search and Images.
