Google just dropped a fresh firmware update (version 3.581.0) for the original Pixel Buds A-Series from 2021, aiming to boost security, fix bugs, and improve performance.
You can grab the update using the Pixel Buds app or by heading to mypixelbuds.google.com.
You can let your buds update themselves automatically while you keep listening, or do it manually when you get a notification.
It usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes either way. Just make sure your earbuds are in their charging case with enough battery when the update installs.
This follows a similar update for the 2022 Pixel Buds Pro in December.
