The Microsoft-OpenAI marriage of convenience appears headed for the rocks. There are many good reasons for Microsoft to end its partnership with Sam Altman’s asset bubble, but the one they’ve chosen is bizarre.
The tech partners’ current contract says when OpenAI’s systems reach “artificial general intelligence,” or AGI, ChatGPT’s parent will be able to limit Microsoft’s access to future technology. Microsoft wants to change that. AGI is the theoretical point at which generative AI systems achieve humanlike intelligence.
The likelihood of this happening at all, never mind anytime soon, is staggeringly small. Remember that AI can’t even do agents yet. Currently, AI agents only have a 58% success rate on simple tasks and a 35% success rate on multi-step ones.
In human terms, this is breaking up with your significant other because they won’t promise to tell you how to change lead into gold.

AI CERTs introduced a certification program called AI+ Marketing. This program provides marketing professionals with knowledge about AI technologies and tools, without focusing on specific products.
Athena launched a generative engine optimization platform. This platform has a large catalog of AI responses and connects them to many cited websites. It suggests specific website changes or content updates to improve rankings in AI search results.
Birdeye unveiled its Social AI Publishing Agent. It creates and schedules content for social media across many locations for brands. Users can set the frequency, theme, channel, and time for posts. The agent can save posts as drafts, send them for approval, or publish them independently.
Botify announced expanded platform capabilities and service offerings for search optimization. These updates include new AI agents that help brands understand and improve their search performance. Botify also added MCP server integration, allowing teams to combine Botify data with other tools. Additionally, Botify joined the AWS ISV Accelerate Program and introduced Botify Growth offerings, which combine AI technology with expert services for companies without a dedicated search team.
Cognizant announced Cognizant Autonomous Customer Engagement, a contact center solution developed with Google Cloud. This AI solution offers customer experiences across different stages of an order. It provides support across multiple channels like voice chat and messaging. The AI models learn from each interaction to improve accuracy and understanding. The system scales to support organizations of different sizes.
Cordial released Price Sensitivity, a new feature for its AI marketing platform. This feature adds to Cordial Edge AI dynamic attributes, which include Lifetime Value, Average Order Value, RFM (Recency Frequency Monetary), Engagement Momentum, and Frequency Optimization. These features predict customer value and adjust message frequency.
DAIVID unveiled a new tool that measures the effectiveness of AI-powered creative content. This tool helps marketers maintain the quality of their ads. DAIVID’s Creative Data Feed API assesses which AI-generated ads will drive emotional engagement, attention, and business results. Its AI models use facial coding, eye tracking and survey data combined with computer vision and computer listening APIs to provide insights on video social or display ads. The tool gives metrics such as emotions, attention, brand recall and purchase intent.
Digital Wave Technology launched agentic AI within its ONE Platform. These intelligent agents perform actions beyond generating responses. They adjust pricing, automate product content updates, identify compliance risks, and trigger workflows across systems such as PIM, ERP and digital shelves.
Floyi announced AIRS Analyzer for AI search analysis. This dashboard shows how various AI search engines and traditional search results display a brand, its competitors, and key topics. AIRS provides a combined view of results and sources from Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Claude Web Search, Gemini, OpenAI Web Search, Perplexity, and traditional organic search.
Genesys announced Genesys Cloud AI Studio. This is a centralized hub for building, managing and scaling AI. It provides tools with safeguards for personalized customer experiences. Genesys Cloud AI Guides, the first part of AI Studio, helps design, deploy and manage virtual agents that operate with more independence across customer journeys.
Globant launched Globant FUSION, a suite of AI Agents for its creative network, Globant GUT. Globant FUSION centralizes marketing, communications, and advertising functions within one system. The suite includes AI Agents for Scale Ads, which automates ad creative production; Content, which generates high-quality content; Images, which produces on-brand visual assets; Video, which creates high-impact video content; and Landing Pages, which builds dynamic landing pages.
Make announced Make Grid, a solution that provides an auto-generated visual map of an entire automation system in real-time. This solution offers visibility into every connection, scenario, and dependency.
Mixpanel announced an expansion of its digital analytics platform. It now includes session replay, experimentation tools, metric trees, AI automation, and warehouse integrations. These capabilities aim to optimize digital experiences. Key features include Metric Trees for mapping metrics to business goals, built-in Experimentation tools, Session Replay and Heatmaps for understanding user behavior, AI-powered insights for detecting anomalies and patterns, and Trusted Metrics and Governance for consistent metric definitions. It also offers Warehouse and Ecosystem Integrations for syncing data with data warehouses.
NLX announced a freemium pricing model for its AI platform. Users can build AI-powered conversational experiences without configuring additional services like a voice channel or a large language model. Users can connect to an LLM provider of their choice or use their keys through the NLX platform.
Omnisend introduced new AI tools for its email and SMS marketing platform. These tools are designed to make it easier for marketers to write subject lines, preheaders and email content. The features include generators that suggest subject lines and preheaders based on past performance, as well as tools that create email copy in different languages using past campaign data and brand voice.
PanTerra Networks announced Streams.AI, a new AI platform. This platform brings customer engagement, automation intelligence and control to business communications in one environment. It offers call routing based on sentiment, caller history or real-time presence. It also has custom AI personalities that match a brand’s tone and dynamic fallback to human operators with conversation continuity. Speech-to-intent response matching provides faster resolutions.
Savant Labs launched its Summer 2025 Release. This update includes Savant’s Agentic Analytics Suite and Intelligence Graph. It also offers integration with Anthropic Claude and tools to move from older analytics platforms. The Agentic Analytics Suite has bot-driven agents: Fuse Agent for merging data, Infer Agent for adding external information, Shine Agent for cleaning data, Glean Agent for extracting patterns, Vision Agent for OCR and PDF extraction, and Stylus Agent for auto-documenting workflows.
Sitecore announced Sitecore.ai, a digital experience platform for marketers. It explores how content data and intelligence combine to power digital engagement. This platform makes it easier for brands to reach, engage and serve customers.
Wildfire Systems Inc. announced a solution that allows consumers to earn cash back and rewards from AI-assisted shopping. Shoppers can receive cashback through Wildfire’s browser extensions by interacting with product suggestions from AI tools like Google’s Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude and Perplexity.
Wrike announced the launch of Wrike MCP Server. This server allows third-party enterprise AI agents, including Anthropic’s Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity, to securely access, analyze and act on work management data in Wrike. This links Wrike with CRM and marketing automation tools.
Wunderkind announced the release of Build with Wunderkind, an API-first integration suite. This suite gives brands and developers direct access to Wunderkind’s core functions, including identity resolution, behavioral triggers across channels and personalization intelligence. Build offers integration options like SDKs for capturing behavioral data and APIs for real-time data ingestion, identity resolution and message personalization. It also has Signals for integrating with messaging platforms.
Algolia released its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. This server allows large language models and other AI agents to access Algolia’s search analytics recommendations and index configuration application programming interfaces. It provides real-time business context for these agents.
Blis AI is a planning tool. It translates a campaign brief into audience recommendations. The tool uses natural language inputs and provides audience suggestions without relying on identifiers.
Botify announced changes to its platform and services. It added new conversational AI agents that help brands understand and improve their search performance. Botify Assist helps marketers use website data to identify issues, create content, and optimize for AI visibility. The company also added Model Context Protocol server integration. This lets teams put Botify data into other tools or bring their own agents into the Botify system.
Criteo launched its Auction-Based Display technology. This technology offers programmatic flexibility in retail media settings. It allows for biddable trading, flexible pricing, and controls for ad relevance in retail environments.
DoubleVerify launched DV Authentic AdVantage. This solution combines DoubleVerify’s media quality controls with its Scibids AI to improve outcomes in walled garden environments. It works on video platforms. The solution helps advertisers align advertising with brand-safe content and optimize campaign performance through automated bid adjustments and budget allocations. It also provides detailed insights and reporting to measure performance.
gen.video acquired Lionize. Lionize is an AI-driven platform that automates creator discovery and contracting for TikTok and Instagram.
GetWhys expanded its data strategy. The platform now lets users analyze Internet Data, Organization Data, and GetWhys’ interview data in one place. Internet Data searches public sources for relevant insights. Organization Data provides a way for companies to connect and analyze their internal customer information. GetWhys Data is a growing set of in-depth interviews with B2B software users and buyers.
Infosys and Adobe are working together to change the marketing process for brands using AI. They will combine capabilities from Infosys Aster and Adobe to unite customer experience, personalize content, and streamline workflows. Infosys Aster is a set of AI marketing services, solutions, and platforms.
Lily AI launched a solution for marketers to improve product content for visibility in traditional search and new answer engine optimization contexts. This solution helps products appear in search engines and AI platforms. It includes AI-Ready Structured Data which audits products and delivers enriched data fields and optimized content. It also has Full-Funnel Query Intelligence and Bulk Content Refresh which analyzes shopper searches and updates product information. Additionally, it provides Shopper-Friendly Language which turns product data into clear copy.
Movable Ink released new Autonomous Marketing capabilities. These capabilities use AI to personalize and optimize messaging content based on customer preferences and real-time data. Agentic Campaigns simplify marketing workflow to three steps: uploading creative, adding guardrails, and setting objectives. It uses AI models to decide messaging, creative, subject line, and frequency for each person. Insights Exports provide marketers with a continuous stream of event and creative data. This allows access to marketing insights like top performing creatives and enables exporting engagement behavior to other platforms.
Pendo announced Pendo Agent Analytics. This solution provides visibility into the performance of AI agents. Companies can use it to measure how digital workers perform and to measure adoption of agentic software.
PromoRepublic announced an AI-powered solution for brand groups, holding companies, and enterprise franchise systems. PromoRepublic for Brand Groups combines a customizable brand structure with AI agents and an activation program. It allows multi-brand organizations to unify their digital presence, content, and analytics. It also automates tasks like post distribution, review replies, and listing updates, and drives adoption through onboarding, playbooks, and training.
Rank Prompt is a platform that works with ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok. It functions as an AI business visibility scanner. Users can see if their business is cited, summarized, or recommended by large language models.
Seismic released its Spring 2025 Product Release. This release includes the Role-Play Agent which uses generative AI to simulate customer conversations and give feedback to sales representatives. It also provides insights, scoring, and recommendations for leadership teams. Aura AI is now in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, Slack, and Salesforce Agentforce providing AI-powered answers and content. Aura Chat allows users to have multi-turn conversations with Seismic, asking questions, getting answers, researching topics, generating summaries, and taking action. Seismic for Meetings templates let enablement teams create reusable meeting templates. Customer Stories Orchestrator automates the creation of case studies and logo slides. Self-Service Reports allow enablement teams to access real-time reporting, run analyses, explore engagement data, and share insights.
Tealium announced CloudStream. This is a zero-copy segment builder and activation solution. CloudStream lets enterprises integrate real-time data collection, data cloud storage, and activation into one solution. Cloud-Native Activation maps warehouse tables and columns to Tealium attributes, defines audience segments, and activates customer data. Real-Time Data Collection and Engagement captures and enriches customer data, stores and activates it in the warehouse. Unified Governance and Compliance centralizes consent management and compliance. Identity Resolution maintains consistent customer identity across touchpoints.
The Trade Desk is expanding its generative AI creative offering with Rembrand. Rembrand specializes in spatially aware AI technology for content creation, monetization, and advertising. This partnership allows advertisers to use Rembrand’s Virtual Product Ad solution to embed brands within digital content, including creator and influencer video content.
Ability AI released Ability AI Ads, a web application. This application launches Meta ads for online stores. It pulls data from product URLs and launches ads. The system also optimizes ads.
AdLift launched Tesseract, an AI-driven platform. Tesseract tracks and amplifies brand presence across LLM powered search platforms. It works with platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity.
Adstra made its Conexa Enterprise Identity Platform available in the Databricks Marketplace. This integration gives marketers access to identity and consumer data. It uses Delta Sharing for access.
AliExpress Business unveiled its Supply Chain Suite. This toolkit supports sourcing content creation and distribution for small and medium-sized enterprises, dropshippers, content creators and group buying organizers. Features include per-piece wholesale pricing, no minimum order quantity requirements and rapid production turnaround.
Amperity launched Chuck Data, an AI agent for customer data engineering. Chuck Data uses a natural language command interface for customer data tasks. It handles identity resolution via Amperity Stitch, PII tagging, and customer profiling across Unity Catalog. It also supports compliance through PII tagging within Databricks and uses a zero-copy architecture.
Amplitude debuted Amplitude AI Agents. These agents accomplish specific goals such as improving checkout conversion or increasing feature adoption. An example is the Website Conversion Agent, which monitors performance, analyzes user sessions when conversion drops, and suggests improvements. Another example is the Onboarding Agent, which identifies user hesitation in onboarding and creates in-app guides.
Basis Technologies announced new capabilities for its advertising automation platform. These include omnichannel reporting, data visualization, paid search activation and task management. Its reporting and insights hub unifies campaign data from various sources and channels. This hub provides cross-channel insights, automated report delivery, real-time dashboards, and customizable reports.
Dreamhub launched an AI native CRM for B2B SaaS. This CRM uses an AI vertical ontology. It updates itself, executes workflows, and provides predictive AI insights.
G2 acquired AI capabilities and talent from unSurvey. This addition strengthens G2’s AI capabilities for review collection and custom research. It conducts human-like AI-moderated conversational interviews.
Hostinger launched Reach, an AI-powered email marketing tool. Hostinger Reach creates newsletter templates. Users describe the email’s purpose and the tool crafts a professional mobile mobile-friendly and accessible template.
Infobip announced its Conversational Experience Orchestration Platform (CXOP). CXOP uses intelligent AI agents to manage customer journeys across channels like WhatsApp RCS and web chat.
Insight7 launched its Call Evaluation platform. This platform analyzes video and audio calls at scale. It transcribes, analyzes and surfaces insights, performance metrics and coaching opportunities from conversations.
Jasper launched Jasper Agents and Jasper Canvas. Jasper Agents are AI operators that execute marketing workflows such as optimization, personalization and research. Jasper Canvas is a workspace for marketing teams to plan, create and manage campaigns.
Knotch launched AgentC, a managed AI service for marketers. Marketers upload data and outline objectives. AgentC pulls signals, reasons across them and delivers execution ready outputs. Its use cases include optimizing user experience, user interface and creative for discoverability.
Level AI launched Naviant, an AI virtual agent. Naviant takes actions like modifying orders, updating CRM records and resolving tickets. It understands tone, sentiment and context in real time. It also reviews virtual agent interactions to identify quality insights and coaching opportunities.
Lucidworks launched AI App Studio within its SaaS Platform. AI App Studio enables businesses to create AI powered customer experiences without writing code. Pre-built AI agents include interactive Q&A, generating dynamic question and answer pairings for products. Other agents create conversational chatboxes, provide generative answers, summarize product reviews, offer recommendations and summarize specifications.
MadTech launched MadConnect for Agentic Marketing and Advertising. This infrastructure layer supports AI agents operating across platforms. It transforms large language models into intelligent agents that execute marketing tasks, sync audiences, optimize media spend and generate insights.
Madison Logic announced an expanded Gong integration and Buying Group Identification and Engagement Reporting. The Gong integration features ML SmartReach, which transforms engagement signals into generative AI-powered outreach content for sales teams. The reporting feature tracks and reports on decision-maker engagement across buying committees.
Marchex’s Marketing Edge is available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and AppSource. Marketing Edge provides call tracking attribution and AI conversational analytics. It helps marketers prove return on marketing investment, maximize advertising spend and grow revenue.
Marketeam.ai unveiled Daniel, a new component of its agentic Integrated Marketing Environment (IME). Daniel uses proprietary language models and pre-trained autonomous AI agents. Daniel plugs into brand channels, tech stacks and human teams. It fetches live performance signals, competitor moves and market shifts to boost conversions and reduce customer acquisition costs.
Mercury Analytics launched Qual at Scale, a research solution. This solution combines the speed and scale of large audience surveys with the depth of one-on-one interviews. It uses MercuryIQ, an adaptive AI engine that engages participants within a survey. The AI probes deeper with follow-up questions when answers are vague, incomplete or off topic.
MiQ launched MiQ Sigma, an AI-powered advertising technology. MiQ Sigma unites over 300 data feeds, spanning 700 trillion consumer signals across TV, web and in-store purchases. AI is used across the platform to improve planning, audience development and activation.
Neurons launched Brand Kit, a feature for marketers. Brand Kit provides AI-powered creative improvement recommendations that follow brand guidelines. Users add brand guidelines to the platform and recommendations follow those rules.
Salsify announced FeedbackIQ, an AI-powered capability for its Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) product. FeedbackIQ interprets GDSN Confirmation of Information Consistency (CIC) feedback messages. It helps users pinpoint specific attributes needing attention.
Stensul announced Stensul Email Generator, an enhancement to Stensul AI. Stensul Email Generator automatically assembles an entire email, including content within an approved layout and design, from a campaign brief.
Taboola announced DeeperDive, a Gen AI answer engine. DeeperDive lives directly on publisher websites and uses their content. It connects readers with trusted sources to explore topics within publisher sites.
Thunai.ai launched an Agentic AI Orchestration platform. This platform builds and deploys agents to automate workflows, increase engagement and improve operational efficiency. Thunai.ai’s AI Customer Support Agents offer 24/7 availability and instant responses. They also route inquiries to human agents, score calls, troubleshoot with screenshare, assist human agents and automate email inboxes.
Treasure Data announced five new AI Suites. The Personalization AI Suite delivers real-time digital experiences by combining AI Signals with contextual data. The Engagement AI Suite orchestrates customer interactions across channels. The Creative AI Suite generates brand-compliant content. The Service AI Suite delivers personalized service experiences. The Paid Media AI Suite maximizes return on ad spend with AI-powered ad targeting, budget optimization and performance insights.
Xnurta announced the Xnurta AI Reporting Agent. This agent reduces report generation time. It analyzes Amazon Sponsored Ads retail metrics and digital shelf data for insights. It generates reports in Word, PDF and PowerPoint formats. It also provides a thinking process behind AI-generated reports.
CallMiner acquired VOCALLS, a platform that uses AI to manage voice, chat, messaging, and email interactions. CallMiner will combine this with its analytics tools to expand its automation and virtual agent capabilities.
Uniphore launched a set of AI agents inside its customer data platform. One agent lets users search across platform elements using natural language. Another creates audience segments from plain language prompts. A third answers user questions by pulling from product documentation.
Bolt Insight added features to its BoltChatAI tool. One feature, Dynamic Personas, processes different research formats to create detailed audience profiles. Another, Meta-Analysis, lets users select previous data sources, ask questions, and receive summaries, charts, or key themes based on a scan of all chosen material.
Snowplow released Snowplow Signals, a real-time system for customer data processing. It includes a data store for user profiles, populated by a streaming engine for live events and a batch engine for historical data. It also includes a system for triggering real-time actions based on behavior and developer tools like SDKs and templates to build and deploy these features faster.
Conductor released a toolset called Conductor AI. It tracks a brand’s visibility on AI-driven search engines and compares content authority across topics. It generates content based on current trends and predicts content performance. It links related pages automatically and monitors when and how AI tools engage with content.
HeyGen introduced a video editor called AI Studio. It includes voice direction tools that use language prompts to adjust tone and timing. A voice mirroring tool lets users upload a voice recording, which is then replicated by an avatar. Gesture controls link specific words to movements, whether the avatar is AI-generated or based on real footage.
Innervate updated its content platform for social media and closed ad platforms. It includes automation tools for media planning, campaign setup, and audience management. A scheduler automates campaign launches. Design tools produce compliant content at scale by drawing from connected images and product databases. AI agents generate and adjust media, build dynamic ads, and run experiments that adjust content based on user behavior. All results are stored in a visual dashboard.
AdDaptive expanded its advertising platform with several AI-driven modules. A data onboarding tool combines CRM and behavioral data to create audience profiles. A targeting tool prioritizes accounts based on buying potential. A messaging tool sends customized sequences and moves users between audience groups based on rules. An analytics tool tracks performance, integrates external data and updates reporting dashboards in real time.
Direct Agents introduced Kanopy AI, a platform for managing marketing data. It standardizes metrics and ensures data quality. It connects to major advertising platforms to provide a single view of performance. It uses AI models to answer questions, find trends, and assist decision-making.
Comscore added a new dataset to its reporting tools. It includes usage metrics for 117 AI tools across nine categories, covering desktop and mobile devices.
Iterable introduced a new feature that explains audience segments built into its platform. Marketers can view summaries of how segments were defined and which data was used. The platform checks for logic errors and provides an interface that doesn’t require coding skills.
Gainsight released a product called Atlas that includes AI agents for customer management. One agent analyzes communication and usage data to detect sentiment and risk. Another agent targets customer renewals with automated outreach based on common strategies customer success teams use.
Algonomy released three tools for retail. Ensemble AI builds complete outfit recommendations using shopper behavior and trends. Social Proof Messaging adds real-time prompts like low stock alerts or popularity tags to influence decisions. Active Content creates personalized marketing content by combining data from different sources and adjusting messages at the time of opening.
