Play Services version 26.10 introduces Wi-Fi Sync, which automatically shares known, trusted networks between phones, tablets, PCs, and Wear OS devices in a user’s personal ecosystem.
The feature aims to eliminate repeated password entry when switching devices, with saved networks following users across their hardware. On the Play Store side, version 50.6 adds free trials for select premium games before purchase. Users can test paid titles for limited periods and carry progress forward if they buy the full game.

The March updates include several smaller improvements across Google’s ecosystem. Play Services 26.09 adds screen brightness control within WebViews on phones and coordinates Autofill with Credential Manager to prevent simultaneous login dialogs.
Digital credential support expands in Wallet, and Wear OS users can pay at retail stores without launching the wallet app first.
Play Store 50.5 enables portrait video support in app detail pages and lets users discover mobile games on PC through the new PC Games on Play feature. Cross-platform purchases unlock access across phone, tablet, and PC for select titles.
These changes roll out gradually through Google’s system update mechanism, accessible via Settings > Google services > Privacy & security > System services on Pixel devices. As with most Play services updates, availability varies by device and region.
