Google Fixes Blurry Video Issue in Gemini Live, Update Now Rolling Out – SammyGuru

If you have ever tried using Gemini Live feature on your Samsung Galaxy phone, you might have noticed the video can look blurry. This made it hard for the AI assistant to clearly understand what you were showing it through your camera. Not necessarily always, but it was bothersome at times. Many users found this frustrating, especially when trying to identify plants, fix household items, or get ideas based on their surroundings. The good news is that Google has now made an important update to fix this problem.
Gemini’s community manager posted an update confirming that the update is now live for improved camera resolution. This means the video you share with Gemini Live is sharper and clearer. Because the image is now more detailed, Gemini can analyze what it sees more accurately and give better answers. For sure, it will have a clearer view at what you’ll point it at.
Besides fixing the video quality, Google also made some small but helpful changes to the app’s controls. Previously, you could open Gemini Live by swiping left, but this often caused the feature to turn on by mistake. Now, you need to tap a special button in the lower right corner to start using the live camera. This change makes it less likely to activate the feature accidentally, as 9to5Google reports.
In addition, Google is also encouraging users to reports bug as they see it. Because that’s how you can be assured that it gets fixed on time. You can do so by tapping the profile menu and hitting “Feedback”. Doing so, you can expect the fix(es) to arrive faster than usual. Tried and tested.
