Recently, I worked on an SEO project for an Indian classical flute artist whose brand name is The Mystic Bamboo. A few years back (around 2020-2021), they had done some basic SEO and were ranking in the top 3 mainly because the competition in their niche was very low at that time. After getting those rankings, they completely stopped SEO, and since there were barely any strong online brands in their niche then, the rankings stayed for a while.
We reconnected in November 2025 and started working again on their domain, themysticbamboo.com. The main objective was to rank for competitive primary keywords like “online flute classes,” “flute classes near me,” and “learn bansuri online.”
We began with a full website audit, created a clear roadmap, and properly documented everything to bring the site back on track. From October to December, we followed standard SEO practices — technical fixes, on-page optimization, and natural backlink efforts including a few guest posts. However, the impact was still limited.
In January 2026, after deeper analysis, we realized that backlinks and guest posting alone were not driving strong movement. Instead, brand mentions, branded searches, and topical authority were playing a much bigger role in current SEO. So we shifted the strategy.

I worked on an SEO campaign for a mid-sized e-commerce brand selling premium home fragrances, with the goal of increasing organic traffic and sales by ranking for competitive keywords like “luxury scented candles.” The strategy combined a full technical SEO audit, optimized product pages, improved internal linking, high-quality backlinks, and a content plan targeting long-tail keywords such as “best scented candles for winter evenings.” The key factor that contributed to its success was focusing on these long-tail, highly relevant keywords, which drove targeted traffic and boosted the authority of main product pages, resulting in an 85% increase in organic traffic and a 60% growth in e-commerce sales within six months.
Recently I worked on an SEO campaign for a growing SaaS brand. The goal was to improve visibility and make the content more helpful for both users and AI systems like LLMs. We added structured data to key pages, including schema, TLDRs, and FAQs, and revised content to improve readability and clarity.
One key factor that made it successful was thinking beyond just keywords. By making content easy to scan and understandable for both people and AI, the pages started ranking higher in search and were more likely to be picked up in AI overviews. It showed me that SEO today isn’t just about traditional ranking signals, it’s about creating content that truly serves the reader while aligning with how AI interprets information.
At the same time, we didn’t forget the basics. Fundamentals like clean site structure, proper headings, internal linking, and fast loading pages are still essential. No matter how advanced SEO gets or how much AI is involved, those basics remain the foundation.
We also focused on things like contextual internal linking to show relationships between topics, explicit definitions and examples to make answers easy to extract, and semantic keyword coverage to give AI a full understanding of the subject. FAQ sections, TLDR summaries, and descriptive captions on images helped both readers and AI quickly grasp the main points. Keeping content updated, clean URLs, and a natural conversational tone made the site more trustworthy and readable.
Overall, the campaign taught me that modern SEO is about building content that humans and AI can navigate effortlessly. When your pages are clear, structured, and genuinely helpful, search performance improves naturally, and the content becomes more visible in AI-driven summaries and tools.
