Following the launch of the Pixel 11 series, Google has updated its developer documentation for Gemini Nano 4.
The first “nano-v4” devices launched in recent weeks from Google and Samsung.
This list, which was updated yesterday, is aimed at app developers, but there is some development on the consumer Gemini Intelligence front.
Google recently updated the list of required specs on android.com to bring back the “Nano v3 or greater” mention. That line first appeared in May after The Android Show: I/O Edition, but it was then removed.
Gemini Intelligence features are only available on Android devices with the most advanced capabilities and spec requirements
Gemini Intelligence officially launched last month on Samsung’s latest foldables with expanded task automation that now supports over 40 apps. On the Pixel 11 series, Google debuted Rambler and Proactive Assistance (previously Magic Cue).
It remains to be seen whether the Pixel 10 or Galaxy S26 series will officially get Gemini Intelligence, while we wait for Create My Widget. Google previously said that these new features would roll out in waves.
